Tuition and Scholarships
The tuition fee is RMB 60,000 per year for international students and RMB 30,000 per year for Chinese students.
Unless CESL has given prior approval to do otherwise, all students must pay the tuition fee at the time of registration. Applicants who wish to postpone the payment must explain the amount and the length of the extension required in the Financial Statement. Tuition fees are refunded to students who withdraw from the programme permanently in proportion to their actual attendance prior to withdrawal.
Financial support for European students
With the new "Building Bridges Scholarship", the China-EU School of Law together with the EU and the PRC will support five outstanding European partner university law graduates to study in the 2019-2020 LL.M. programme. Successful applicants will be granted a scholarship covering the full tuition fee. The scholarship aims to strengthen ties between China and Europe, and the school's partners as well as promote mutual understanding. "Building Bridges Scholarship" holders are selected according to evidence of outstanding academic performance and a sincere commitment to furthering the Chinese-European cooperation. The scholarship is designed only for graduates from CESL's 13 European partner universities.
For further external scholarships, please contact your home university's international office for information on scholarships in your home country and at your home university (e.g. Erasmus+ or German DAAD scholarships ).
