Dissertation

An IMCL candidate must submit a dissertation at least 20,000 words in English and pass the thesis defence to fulfill the requirements for the LL.M degree. A thesis that is written in English shall include a summary in Chinese. After approval by the CUPL Degree Committee, the students can receive the LL.M. Program's graduation certificate and the degree certificate for the Master of Laws in Chinese Civil and Commercial Law conferred by the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL).

The IMCL candidate will be assigned an experienced supervisor with international education background during his/her study, and the supervisor is responsible for guiding the candidate’s research and dissertation.
