Prof. Jacques Henri Herbots is an emeritus professor at KU Leuven and a former full professor of Law ( contract law and comparative contract of law). Previously he has served as a deputy judge (court of first instance in Leuven) and councilor (court of appeal in Brussels), as a member of the Legislation Department of the Council of State, and a member of the Supreme Judicial Council.
