Prof. Syméon Karagiannis is a Professor of Public Law at the University of Strasbourg. He studied in Greece and France and received his PhD in Law from the University of Nice in 1989 with a thesis on “Submarine Archaeology and the International Law of the Sea”. Syméon became a Professor of Public Law at the University of Littoral in 2000 and a Professor of Public Law at the University of Strasbourg in 2003. At the China-EU School of Law, he has taught the “International Dimension of Human Rights” course for many years.
