Dana Burchardt

Assistant Professor at the China-EU School of Law


Dr. Dana Burchardt is academic coordinator and postdoctoral researcher at the Berlin Potsdam Research Group “International Law – Rise or Decline?”. She has been a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg. She received her doctorate from the Freie Universität Berlin where she was also a research fellow. Her Ph.D. focusses on the relationship between the law of the European Union and domestic law and has been published in 2015 with Mohr Siebeck. She has studied law in Potsdam and Paris and has completed her first and second State Exam as well as a maîtrise en droit. Her current research interests include international law, legal theory and European constitutional law.
