Prof. Xie Libin is a Professor at the Sino-German Insitute of Law (Chinesisch-deutsches Institut für Rechtswissenschaft) at the China University of Political Science and Law. He studied English literature and Law as a bachelor’s student at Tianjin University from 1995 to 1999 and studied Constitutional and Administrative Law as a master’s student at the China University of Political Science and Law from 1999 to 2002. From 2002 to 2007, he worked for his PhD in law at the University of Hamburg Faculty of Law. Since 2007, Professor Xie teaches Constitutional Law at the China University of Political Science and Law. Together with Professor Susan-Gale Wintermuth, he teaches Comparative Constitutional Law at the China-EU School of Law since 2015.
