Yu Fei

Professor of Law at the China University of Political Science and Law


Prof. Yu Fei is a Professor of Law and PhD supervisor at the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) in Beijing, China. He is Director of the Chinese Civil Law Research Association, Director of the Beijing Law Study Association and Vice President of the Beijing Law Society’s Real Estate Law Association. His research interests are focused on Civil Law and Tort Law, he specialises in general principles of Civil Law and general clauses in Tort Law. Yu Fei’'s main fields of teaching cover Civil Law, Contract Law, Tort Law and Property Law.

Yu Fei obtained a PhD in Civil and Commercial Law from the Chinese Academy of Social Science in 2004. He holds a master’s degree in Civil and Commercial Law and a bachelor’s degree in law from Zhengzhou University. Yu Fei was a visiting scholar at the University of Bonn,Germany, with a Humboldt Research Fellowship from 2010 to 2013 and a visiting scholar at Columbia University, USA, from 2008 to 2009. His main works include “Research on Tort Law with Separate Protection of Right and Interest” (2012) and “Research on the Principle of Public Order and Good Custom” (2006).
