亲爱的读者，
作家马克·吐温曾说过，“成功的秘密就是行动起来”。在新的学年里，我们遵循这条忠告并很高兴的迎来中国政法大学中欧法学院的第九届新生：139位年轻有前途的法律人才和我们一起开始他们的学习，包括111名双硕士同学，10名欧洲-国际法学硕士项目的中国同学以及18位英文讲授中国法项目的国际学生。我们尤其希望这18名国际学生，其中包括来自我们合作院校克拉科夫雅盖隆大学的首批波兰学生，同我们一起度过一个有意义的、鼓舞人心的一年。
我们同时也祝愿毕业后即将开启新生活的109位双硕士（中国法硕士和欧洲-国际法硕士）毕业生们一切顺利！

Dear readers,
"The secret to getting ahead is getting started,” writer Mark Twain asserted. With the start of the new academic year, we follow this advice and have the pleasure of welcoming the 9th intake class at the China-EU School of Law at the China University of Political Science and Law. 139 promising young legal minds commenced their studies with us: 111 in the Double Master’s programme, 10 in the Master of European and International Law as a stand-alone programme and 18 in the Chinese Law Taught in English programme. We particularly hope that these 18 international students, including the first Polish students from our partner Jagiellonian University Krakow, will spend an instructive and inspiring year with us.
We also wish all the best to the 109 Double Master’s, Chinese Law Master’s and Master of European and International Law graduates who are currently starting their life after university.

EU Commissioner Jourava: “We need people like you”
Set up after an agreement made during the 2015 EU-China Summit, the EU and China launched a new Legal Affairs Dialogue this summer. Taster week: CESL Summer Camp informs prospective students
CESL’s first taster week from 12 to 15 July was met with a great response. Sixty-three Chinese bachelor’s students from 40 universities visited the Changping and Xueyuanlu campuses. More than 80 % came from 211 and 985 universities which take part in the elite programme for higher education by the Chinese government. Almost 250 students applied for the Summer Camp. At this event, CESL offered an extensive range of information, lectures, discussions and advice to support students in their individual choice of study.More

On 20 and 21 June 2016, the University of Strasbourg and the China-EU School of Law co-organisied the “International Sale of Goods” symposium.
