Yenkong Ngangjoh Hodu

​Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester


Dr Yenkong Ngangjoh Hodu is a Senior Lecturer in Law and the Director of LL.M. and M.A. programmes at the University of Manchester. Before joining the University of Manchester, he conducted research at the Nordic Africa Institute in Uppsala, Sweden, and at the University of Helsinki, Finland. He has been a visiting professor to several Chinese universities such as Wuhan University Law School, Fudan University Law School, the University of Peking. Yenkong specialises in International Trade Law with a focus on Africa-EU and Africa-US relations, Public International Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, Investment Law and International Development Law. He is a Barrister and Solicitor and is called to the Supreme Court of Cameroon. At the China-EU School of Law, he taught the “WTO Law” course.
