CESL elective students explore Hamburg and Vienna

International Business Law, European and European Legal Studies, Comparative Constitutional Law – from 5 April 2018, 107 students from the China-EU School of Law will travel to Europe for a study visit at one of the CESL partner universities in Europe for up to two months. CESL pays for accommodation, organises and pays travel costs and insurance. Moreover, students get a scholarship of 2700 yuan each.

Ten students head for the Europa-Kolleg Hamburg in Germany from 5 April to 26 May 2018. Six students study at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria from 9 April to 12 June 2018. They are taking part in regular courses in LL.M. programmes. These study credits will be part of the Master of European and International Law's elective module at CESL in Beijing.

"We are looking forward to these weeks of studying and excitement," student Zheng Yan says. "To me, it was a first surprise to get off the plane in Hamburg and realize that we are the foreigners in a new country now, but the city welcomed us very warmly with always someone offering help when we needed directions or advice and spring with blue sky, green grass and many birds."
