China-EU School of Law graduates rank in Chinas “Top 30 under 30”

According to the 2017 “Top 30 under 30” list by the Chinese legal rating agency Legalband, two China-EU School of Law graduates belong to China’s leading legal talents. Xia Yan, born in 1989, graduated from the Double Master’s programme in 2014. He has worked for three years for JunHe law firm in the field of Capital Markets, Corporate M & A, Private Equity, Real Estate and Trusts. “Xia Yan supports his clients always best when they need him the most - whether it is highly intensive negotiations with counterparties or discussion about complex transaction structures,” the jury explained. Tao Yuanyuan, born in 1987, was awarded her double degree from the China-EU School of Law in 2012. She has been a lawyer at Zhong Lun law firm in Beijing since. She is specialising in cross-border M & A, foreign direct investment, private equity and venture capital. One of her latest clients was Huawei-3Com. “Tao Yuanyuan stands out as a lawyer because she is always able to earn the clients‘ full trust,” the jury praised.

The list of 30 top young Chinese lawyers is based on client feedback, peer evaluation, and background research. Legalband is a legal ranking agency owned by the Chinese company Accurate Media. The agency ranks law firms and individuals from more than 30 Asia Pacific countries and regions.
