Andrea Ott introduces to China-EU trade relations

Prof. Andrea Ott, Jean Monnet Chair of European Union Law at Maastricht University, the Netherlands, and teaching the "External Relations/Common Commercial Policy" course at the China-EU School of Law, gave an open lecture on 8 November 2017 at the China-EU School of Law. She reviewed the current China-EU relationship, focusing particularly on trade aspects between the two. "Trade is central to EU-China relations but while the trade in goods is well developed the trade in services lags behind", was one of the messages she delivered to the audience of students and scholars. Moreover, Prof. Ott talked about the trade dispute issues between China and the EU, including questions of anti-dumping which were a part of the new Anti-Dumping rules the EU imposed in November 2017.
