"International Legal Practice" is a special practical course of China-EU School of Law, which is organized and coordinated by Ms. Qi Hong. Students can learn about the practical aspects of different foreign-related fields and gain new perspectives on their career choices or professional growth through this course.
One of the highlights of this year's course is "Legal Memorandum Writing" taught by Liu Chi, a senior partner of Beijing JunZeJun Law Office. On April 19, 2022, at the invitation of Mr. Liu Chi, Ms. Qi and the students visited Beijing JunZeJun Law Office for the second seminar on "Legal Memorandum Writing".
Mr. Liu pointed out that most of the students had "read too little and written too little" during their study period. He suggested that the students should not only read legal literature, but also practice the ability to analyze and research typical cases. Mr. Liu encouraged students to focus on intensive reading, intensive writing, strict writing format and logical thinking.
In this writing class, the students revised the draft legal memorandum three times, and Mr. Liu made detailed comments on each draft. Through repeated revisions, the students changed their way of thinking about writing and improved their writing skills.
