Dr. Angelo Falsone is currently a lecturer at the Law School of Ocean University of China. He holds an LLM and a PhD from L.U.M.S.A. University (Italy) as well as a second LLM from the University of Nottingham (UK). He is an expert in comparative law, law and religion as well as legal history.

Prof. Aristide Police is currently Professor of Administrative Law at the LUISS “Guido Carli” University and was appointed Adjunct Professor at the Law School of China University of Political Science and Law for 2019-2022. He is Cassation lawyer and Founding Partner of the Law Firm Police & Partners, listed in “Hall of Fame” (Legal500) and “Star Individual” (Chambers). He is particularly experienced in public procurement and concessions, public law economics, administrative litigation procedures and public accounting. He has been a member of the Board of Auditors of the Italian President of the Republic’s Office, of the Commission for access to administrative documents at Italy’s Prime Minister’s Office and of several Ministerial Commissions, including, most recently, the commission for the drafting of the new Regulation implementing the Italian Code of Public Contracts.

Jeffrey Lubbers is a Professor of Practice in Administrative Law at the American University Washington College of Law. He holds expertise in administrative law; government structure and procedures; and regulatory policy and procedures. He also serves as WCL’s liaison to Japanese Law School, having taught at WCL’s “sister school,” Ritsumeikan University School of Law in Kyoto, for ten summers. From 2012-2015 he was Director of WCL’s Europe Summer Law Program. He has also engaged in numerous administrative law reform projects in China in the last 20 years. From 1982-1995, Professor Lubbers was the research director of the Administrative Conference of the United States, where he is now Special Counsel. He has published three books, and also served as the editor of the ABA’s Developments in Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice (16 vols., 1998-2014).

Prof. Matthias Knauff holds the Chair of Public Law, in particular Public Commercial Law, and is head of the Research Centre for Traffic Market Law at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena as well as a judge at the Thuringian Higher Regional Court. After studying, obtaining his doctorate and habilitation at the University of Würzburg as well as substitute professorships at the University of Freiburg and the LMU Munich, he accepted a professorship at the EBS University of Economics and Law in Wiesbaden in 2011. Since the summer semester 2013 he teaches and researches in Jena. Since 2012, he has been offering seminars on the law of public transport for the Kommunale Bildungswerk e.V.

Narufumi KADOMATSU（かどまつ・なるふみ）is professor in Law School of Kyushu University. Before he was assistant researcher in the Institute of Social Sciences of Tokyo University from 1992 to 1995, and associate professor in Law School of Kyushu University from 1996 to 2005. He is a member of the Japan Bar Association and the East Asia Administrative Law Association. His research fields and interests mainly include administrative law, urban planning law, law and economics, etc. He compiled dozens of books and published nearly 100 academic papers.

Neysun A. Mahboubi is a Research Scholar of the Center for the Study of Contemporary China at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Lecturer in Law at Penn Law School. He is one of the project leaders for the Penn Project on the Future of U.S.-China Relations. His primary academic interests are in the areas of administrative law, comparative law, and Chinese law, and his current writing focuses on the development of modern Chinese administrative law. He has chaired the international committee of the ABA Section of Administrative Law & Regulatory Practice, advised both the Asia Foundation and the Administrative Conference of the United States on Chinese administrative procedure reform, and moderates the Comparative Administrative Law Listserv hosted by Yale Law School.

Oswald Jansen is adjunct professor and fellow of the Program on Law and Government at American University Washington College of Law, and guest senior lecturer Comparative and Global Administrative Law at Tilburg University. He defended his PhD at Amsterdam University in 1999. He is attorney (advocaat) at van Ardenne & Crince le Roy lawyers. His practice focuses on (European) administrative law, regulation and law enforcement. He has published and co-edited several books on subjects such as (Global or) International Administrative Law, Comparative Administrative Law, Comparative Public Administration, and Defense Rights, Administrative Sanctions and Law Enforcement and mutual assistance in administrative matters in the European Union.

Ronald Montague Silley, Executive European Dean of China-EU School of Law. Monty Silley received his B.A. from the University of British Columbia and his Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University. He also completed a European Master’s degree in Law and Economics and holds an LLM from the University of Hamburg, a Master's degree from the University of Bologna, and an LLM from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He has taught law courses at the Hamburg Law School, Hamburg University, Hamburg School of Business Administration, and Humboldt University Berlin. He was also the director of the Foreign Teaching Program at the Hamburg Law School.
