On June 30,2021, the 31st professional training course for prosecutors organized by the China-EU School of Law (CESL) in cooperation with the National Prosecutor's College (NPC) was successfully held on the Shahe campus of the NPC.

Due to the pandemic, this high-level cross-border training was conducted in the form of a live online broadcast. Mr. Pedro Verdelho, a experienced prosecutor at the Attorney General's Office of Portugal and Coordinator of their Cybercrime Office, gave a wonderful lecture entitled "Cybercrime and Electronic Data". Mr. Verdelho also gave excellent answers to numerous questions raised by the participants, regarding issues such as jurisdiction in international cybercrime cases, governance of virtual currency transactions such as bitcoin, and European practices and international cooperation in combating cybercrime.

Prof. Zhu, Vice-President of the NPC, attended the opening ceremony of the course along with Prof. Ronald Montague Silley, Executive Dean of CESL, who both gave speeches about the importance of this topic. Dean Silley also presented the participants with a certificate acknowledging their completion of the training program.
