The Fall semester of 2020 came as scheduled. After a long and tense wait, the new CESL students of 2020 finally stepped onto the long-awaited campus. An epidemic may have blocked everyone's smiles, but it could not stop everyone's joy from shining through.
The teachers and volunteers of the 2019 double master's degree students came to the International Exchange Center early to prepare to welcome the new students who came to register in person.
Freshmen of the 2020 CESL year arrived one after another and completed the registration process. They verified their identities, showed the Beijing Healthcode as "green", scanned the admission notice, showed their nucleic acid test certificate (which was required for every student and paid by the School), submitted their household registration information, got the medical examination form and also received a full epidemic prevention health kit, etc.
The students lined-up in an orderly manner, wearing masks and keeping intervals of 1 meter, they earnestly implemented the School's epidemic prevention instructions.
A volunteer team composed of 2019 students from the CESL Graduate Association helped the 2020 freshmen to complete the registration work.

The registration for the 2020 MEIL was done in an orderly manner. Teacher Li Xiaolu, a postgraduate counselor CESL, was there to also guide the work.
In the afternoon, the 2019 graduate student volunteers could not continue to participate in the registration work due to their courses. Teacher Ma Anna took over the baton and continued to provide assistance for the MEIL registration. At the same time, European Executive Co-Dean Monty Silley also came to the scene to welcome students in person and show his support.
Some of the 2020 freshmen who registered in the morning also took the initiative to help in the afternoon’s registrations. These students immediately demonstrated mutual help, characteristic of the warm and friendly atmosphere of the CESL family. I believe that the students will be able to gain a lot in the next three years of study and life here.

The 2020 orientation work has been successfully completed with the joint efforts of all staff and students. The arrival of the 2020 freshmen has injected new vitality into CESL. I wish you a unique and beautiful postgraduate life in the days to come, gain knowledge, make progress, and realize your dreams!
