In the 42ndChina University of Political Science and Law Track and Field Games, the China-EU School of Law’s (CESL) student Zhang Minglei was awarded the bronze medal in 100m hurdles, and student Yao Qihui ranked in fourth place in javelin and in fifth place in shot put.
The games were held in the stadium of Changping campus from 22 to 23 April 2017. CESL students actively participated. In the opening ceremony on 22 April, the schools’teams marched into the stadium.
CESL organised a competitive team after committed preparation. In men's competitions, there were Zhang Xiaobai, Sun Yitong, Jia Xiaoyong, Guo Baoying, Sun Leimeng, Xu Jiefeng, Guo Zepeng, Lin Guozhen, Tang Yinbiao, Fei Yinbo, An Hongyang, Hu Jinbo, Du Zehua, and Bai Zijian taking part in shot put, javelin, 1500m, 4*100m, 4*400m respectively. In women's competitions, there were Cai Zetong, Zhang Changrui, Xu Huanhuan, Meng Xuefei, Li Xinyue, Yao Qihui, Liu Zixin, Yu Qi, Ma Yuanzheng, Zhang Minglei, Wang Yuexiao, Li Yuanhuan, Wan Xingmeng, and Chen Xi taking part in long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin, 100m, 800m, 100m hurdles, 3000m, 4*100m respectively.
For two days, athletes of CESL fully demonstrated their courageous spirit. While athletes were competing, other students warmly cheered from the stands during the games, guided them to the check point, sent supplies and tried their best to do anything they can. All students shared the joy of success after the games.
