The China-EU School of Law’s (CESL) master’s students Zhang Xuxu, Hu Huiming, Li Shan, Li Yangyang, Shangguan Qiyang and Liu Meixiao will study from 1 May to 5 June 2016 at Lund University in Sweden. They will attend the courses ‘Human Rights and Gender’, 'Migration Law’ and ’Business and Human Rights’ from the master’s programme in International Human Rights Law, studying and communicating with other students at the Faculty of Law.

They were introduced to academic policies by the master’s programme coordinator Anders Tröjer. He guided the students to the classroom and the library. Prof. Bengt Lundell welcomed the students with traditional Swedish food and introduced them to the history of Lund University at his office. The librarian Anna Wiberg explained the library system to the students. "We learned a lot from them”, student Liu Meixiao said afterwards.

The Library of the Faculty of Law

Lund University was built in 1666. It is one of the top 100 universities all over the world and one of the best universities in Europe. It has over 42,000 students. The Faculty of Law is one of eight faculties.

"The learning atmosphere is splendid”, Liu Meixiao said. “I was especially impressed by the ‘Migration Law’ course and Prof. Vladislava Stoyanova’s broad knowledge.” There are also seminars in this course, letting the students improve themselves by participating actively in teamwork.
