At the China-EU School of Law’s “China and the Brexit” symposium on 6 December, Chinese and European academics will explore possible legal aspects of the Brexit and its possible consequences for China. A wide range of legal fields such as Commercial Law, IP Law, Capital Markets, Tax Law, Dispute Resolution and Immigration Law is affected. Top-speakers include Professor Jürgen Basedow, Director of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg, Germany, Professor Sionaidh Douglas-Scott of the Queen Mary School of Law, University of London, UK, Professor Marie-Christine Janssens, Head of Centre for IT & IP Law at KU Leuven, Belgium, and numerous distinguished Chinese legal scholars.

The symposium is free of charge.
The scholars meet at the China University of Political Science and Law, Xueyuan Lu campus, room B211, Keyan building.
