The China-EU School of Law has invited policy-makers and academics to discuss important developments in the China-EU legal relations and legal education. The “The China-EU School of Law as a Bridge of Legal Dialogue” evening reception on Wednesday, 20 April 2016, will take place at the Hanse-Office in Brussels. This reception will also demonstrate the role the China-EU School of Law plays in strengthening this dialogue. Zhang Lirong, Minister and Deputy Head of the Mission of the People‘s Republic of China to the European Union, and Mr Jo Leinen, Member of the European Parliament, Chair of the Delegation for relations with the People’s Republic of China, will introduce to these topics as speakers. Prof. Liu Fei and Prof. Armin Hatje, Co-Deans of the China-EU School of Law, will then inform about the jointly run law school in Beijing. Afterwards, participants have time to exchange their views and develop new ideas on China-EU legal dialogue.
The Hanse-Office is the joint representation of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and the German federal state of Schleswig-Holstein to the European Union.
